Spray Painter - Southampton

  • £14.95 per hour
  • Based at the Pickerings depot in Totton, Southampton
  • 45 hours per week, 7.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday
  • Overtime hours paid at one and a half times basic hourly rate

We design and supply solutions to a diverse customer base, including ​schools needing extra classrooms, commercial businesses needing additional office space and construction sites needing a complex of offices and welfare facilities.

The Role

As a key member of the depot’s operations team, you’ll be responsible for spray painting and finishing of our accommodation units to the highest standards in readiness for their delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing accommodation units for painting, including sanding, masking, and cleaning surfaces
  • Applying high-quality spray paint finishes to external and internal areas of units
  • Carrying out touch-ups and repairs as required
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with health & safety guidelines
  • Maintaining equipment and keeping work areas clean and tidy
  • Supporting the operations team with minor maintenance, cleaning and furnishing of units

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Previous experience in spray painting (ideally in construction, automotive, or industrial settings)
  • Good attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic

The Company plans to relocate the depot to Alton in Hampshire in the next 18 to 24 months and therefore expects applicants to be able to commute to this location.
