About us

Formed in 1969, Pickerings has grown into a leading, privately owned specialist in the hire, sale and lease purchase of portable and modular buildings. We also provide a wide range of portable accommodation for every need.

Response service from locations nationwide

With a head office on the Derbyshire and Leicestershire borders, we operate from 12 locations across England, enabling us to provide a responsive, local service anywhere in the country. We have an on-going programme of opening new depots as well as relocating to better local facilities. Pickerings depots at Leeds, Birmingham and Wootton Bassett near Swindon are our most recent openings and, like other Pickerings depots, provide a wide range of the finest modular buildings and portable buildings for every market sector. 

Extensive modular building range

The range of relocatable modular accommodation available to hire, buy or lease purchase includes commercial offices, school classrooms, healthcare buildings, workers canteens, workers changing facilities, toilets and shower facilities. Pickerings modular buildings can be installed as single or multi-storey solutions to meet your needs.

Some of our products are available exclusively from Pickerings. All buildings are delivered direct to your site by our own fleet of vehicles or, at busy times, by specalist sub-contract hauliers that have passed our strict codes of practice.
