Formed in 1969, Pickerings (formerly Pickerings Plant Hire) has grown into a leading, privately owned hire firm, specialising in the hire of portable site accommodation and modular buildings.

With a head office on the Derbyshire and Leicestershire borders, we operate from 11 depots located across England, enabling us to provide a responsive, local service anywhere in the country. We offer a fleet of robust, well-maintained portable and modular buildings supplied by recognised and trusted manufacturers.
Extensive temporary building range
The range of portable and modular accommodation available to hire includes offices, classrooms, healthcare buildings, secure stores, canteens, welfare units, toilets and shower facilities. All buildings are delivered direct to your site by our own fleet of vehicles. All welfare units, both static and mobile, are HSE-compliant and are maintained in line with the latest legislation.
