FORS Audit Passed for 4th Consecutive Year with Flying Colours

We’ve done it again.

Pickerings, the fastest growing provider of modular buildings and portable cabins, has passed its annual audit to achieve accreditation to the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) for the 4th consecutive year.

We run our own fleet of HGV vehicles to transport our range of modular buildings and portable cabins to customers sites when they hire or buy our portable accommodation products. Each year Pickerings drivers and vehicles are audited as part of its FORS accreditation to ensure we are achieving the highest levels of best practice in safety, efficiency and environmental protection. Our management and control systems monitor the performance of our drivers and vehicles for fuel usage to both protect the environment and to ensure we adhere to safe driving practices.

Pickerings vehicles operate from eleven depots nationwide and deliver portable buildings such as temporary offices; modular school classrooms; secure storage containers; portable toilet blocks; construction project complexes; healthcare facilities to a range of sectors including education, health, construction and industry & commerce.

FORS is an accreditation scheme for transport fleet operators. Its purpose is to raise the level of quality within fleet operations, and to demonstrate which operators are achieving the standard. FORS encourages operators to take a closer look at their operation and identify areas of strength to be exploited and areas for improvement to be addressed.
