Cyber Essentials Certification for Pickerings
Pickerings is pleased to announce it has successfully passed an assessment for certification in the Government’s Cyber Essentials scheme that help organisations protect themselves against common online threats.
Cyber attacks can come in many different shapes and sizes, often carried out by relatively unskilled individuals. Our Cyber Essentials assessment protects against a wide variety of the most common cyber attacks. This is particularly important because vulnerability to simple attacks can indicate to cyber criminals that we might be vulnerable to be targeted for more in-depth unwanted attention.
Our certification gives you peace of mind that our defences will protect against the vast majority of common cyber attacks simply because these attacks are looking for targets which do not have the Cyber Essentials technical controls in place.
We are pleased to reassure our customers that we are working to secure our IT against cyber attacks. We anticipate that our cyber certification will help attract companies and give them peace of mind when dealing with Pickerings for their modular building and portable building requirements.
Some Government contracts require a supplier with Cyber Essentials certification and Pickerings has wide experience of providing modular buildings and portable buildings to Government contracts nationwide.
