Modular Building (Temporary Classroom)
Princecroft Primary School is a small school with very big ambitions situated near the centre of Warminster in Wiltshire. It’s enthusiastic and excellent staff and governors have a total commitment that includes; maintaining small class sizes; providing memorable learning activities that inspire and excite the children and help them achieve their very best.
With proposed plans to build extensions and make alterations to the Warminster school including the construction of a new school hall Rigg Construction was appointed to complete the work. During the construction work temporary classrooms were needed for the pupils and teachers.
With a growing reputation in providing temporary and semi-permanent facilities for the education sector Pickerings was approached to provide the temporary classrooms to the school. Pickerings designed and provided 10 building modules from their local hire depot in Swindon which were delivered and installed adjacent to the main school premises. The completed single storey building consists of 2 large classrooms with separate boys and girl’s toilets with part of the building being used as a temporary small staff room. The temporary classrooms will remain on site in Warminster for the duration of the construction work.
At Pickerings, we believe we have helped the staff and governors of Princecroft School achieve their commitments.
The temporary classrooms provided by Pickerings are excellent. They have been nice and warm in the colder weather. The sound insulation of the building has been very good and it has provided a quiet learning environment during the construction work.
