Eco Flex Modular Building
Kantor Energy is a specialist EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) contractor who were awarded a contract to construct a new biomass plant facility and associated works at the former colliery at Baxterley Shale in Warwickshire.
With work set to start on site and limited facilities for a large temporary workforce, Kantor Energy contacted Pickerings to provide a range of workspace to use for the duration of the two year contract.
Pickerings designed a two-storey modular building with all the necessary facilities to meet the site requirements. The building consisting of 16 modules was prepared at Pickerings local hire branch in the Midlands and then delivered and installed safely to meet the client’s deadline.
The completed site complex consists of a large open plan office with separate managers offices, an open plan canteen and a changing room with separate toilets and showers. Further requirements has seen the addition of a separate single storey modular building of 8 modules comprising a meeting room, induction room and offices.
During the peak of the two year project an approximate 250 workers will be using the temporary facilities on site.
We are pleased to have chosen Pickerings to provide a temporary complex of offices and welfare facilities. The modular buildings are of a very high quality and were delivered and installed quickly on our site.
