Reporting to: Operations Manager

To effectively supervise employees and sub-contractors to ensure modular buildings are constructed and prepared in accordance with design specifications and in time for their scheduled delivery.

Responsibilities and duties

  • Ensure sub-contractors receive a site induction and are issued with relevant Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
  • Ensure employees and sub-contractors adhere to the Company’s safety, productivity and quality standards
  • Ensure employees and sub-contractors are briefed on modular design specifications and subsequently allocated appropriate construction tasks
  • Monitor progress of construction activity and reallocate duties as appropriate to meet design specifications and delivery deadlines
  • Ensure materials are readily available to avoid delays in the construction process
  • Provide Operations Manager with workload progress and highlight any matters timely that may delay or affect completion of buildings
  • Ensure that all completed buildings are inspected and tested to the required standards and appropriate documentation and certification is completed where applicable
  • Support the Operations Manager in the delivery of toolbox talks and training to yard operations team
  • Provide appropriate support to the Operations Supervisor (AV) to ensure products are ready for their delivery
  • Deputise for the Operations Manager in their absence
