Junior AutoCAD Designer (Modular Buildings) - Head Office

Job Type: Full time (Monday to Friday. 37.5 hours per week, 8.30am to 5pm)

​Location: This role is based in our offices in Measham (DE12). Hybrid working is not offered.

Pickerings offers a complete Design & Build package offering temporary, semi-permanent and permanent modular buildings for hire or sale.

This role is to work with Pickerings sales and operational teams to produce drawings that will be used in the sales process, innovation design and by the works teams to assemble and build from.

Key responsibilites

  • Produce and plan elevation drawings for modular buildings and cabins
  • Raise designs from customer briefs
  • Support the sales team in achieving winning bids by providing effective design solutions whilst minimising costs to build
  • Annotate existing drawings with specific unit numbers
  • Update drawings for the works department to enable a frictionless build process
  • Amend and update drawings when required
  • Keep up to date with current building rules and regulations

​You will need

  • Relevant AutoCAD qualifications
  • ​Some previous experience with AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of Adobe packages are ideal
